The volunteers of Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC) are the heartbeat of our Resident Services. From mentoring teens and working one-on-one with students in our Afterschool program, to supporting summer camp enrichment, distributing groceries, assisting with community events, and assembling welcome baskets and snack bags — AHC volunteers help transform lives every day.

To honor that impact, AHC hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Event filled with food, conversation, and gratitude. We recognized volunteers celebrating 5, 10, and 15 years of service and introduced a Rising Star Award, honoring newer volunteers already making a big difference.

The event featured fun activities like "Name That Tune" trivia and "Get-to-Know-You" bingo. Thank you to all who donated items for the event's raffle, including Backroom Ceramics, Good Company Doughnuts & Cafe, and Simona Cafe.

AHC is deeply grateful for the ongoing commitment of our volunteers and proud to have so many community members join us in keeping residents at the heart of all we do.

Thank you to all of AHC's amazing volunteers! View this fun video from the event and the photo slideshow above.
