Greenspring Overlook

2407 Loyola Northway, Baltimore, MD 21215

Located in northwest Baltimore City near Druid Park, Greenspring Overlook offers 189 affordable, garden-style apartments for families. Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC) acquired the community in 2001, making it AHC’s first community in Maryland.

All of the apartment homes are federally subsidized and affordable for families earning up to 60% of the Area Median Income.

Greenspring Overlook has a community center and onsite Resident Services programs for kids, adults, and seniors. In 2023, Greenspring Overlook was one of five AHC communities in Maryland to receive computers and a printer to help break down the digital divide for residents and build equity across AHC’s communities.

AHC extensively renovated the community in 2002, including apartment upgrades and added community space.

Twenty years later, in 2022, AHC completed a $14 million construction project to renovate 185 apartments. The project involved full plumbing and mechanical systems replacements, accessibility upgrades, and a new play area for children.
