Corporate Partnerships

Together we can do so much!

Affordable Homes & Communities is grateful for the generosity of our corporate partners who help us serve nearly 15,000 individuals in our 54 communities each year. Philanthropic support and partnerships are invaluable as AHC Resident Services expands to respond to the critical need for housing stability, social services, and education programs.

Partner with us. AHC is committed to providing our corporate partners with meaningful and mutually beneficial partnership opportunities. Each relationship is tailored to meet the company’s marketing objectives and business goals, while spotlighting AHC’s mission and impact in the community.

Please consider the options below and email Annie Sweeney for additional details (or call 703-486-0626 ext 1117). AHC is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, EIN 54-1026365.

Ways to Give

Corporate Gifts: Your company’s unrestricted support helps further AHC’s mission to build opportunity by creating quality homes with holistic resident services.

Program & Event Sponsorships: Provide targeted support by sponsoring one of AHC’s holistic Resident Services programs or events. Whether it is our Heart & Sole running program for middle schoolers, College Signing Day, or Women’s Empowerment Program, your support will make a direct impact in the lives of our participants.

In-Kind Donations: AHC has a variety of goods and service needs that can be met through an in-kind gift from your company. Your tax-deductible donation of in-kind goods can greatly aid our families and programs.

Employee Volunteering: Volunteers are the key to our residents’ success. We would be happy to work with your company to arrange a project that best suits your employees’ interests and needs. Learn more about volunteering with AHC

Matching Gifts: Matching your employees’ contributions is a wonderful way to show your commitment to AHC’s mission and our residents.

Employee Engagement/Partnership: AHC offers virtual and in-person employee engagement opportunities to fit your company’s philanthropic efforts and goals. These activities build employee culture and camaraderie, and bring your team members closer to AHC’s programs and mission to see the impact of your gift. Engagement opportunities can include presentations on the importance of affordable housing.

Workplace Giving: AHC will work with your company to give employees the opportunity to give through your workplace giving or payroll deduction vendor. Companies often use the following giving platforms: Benevity, Combined Federal Campaign, Global Giving, Truist, and YourCause. Please let us know if your company is using a different vendor.

Advocacy Partnerships: Our staff brings the housing issues facing residents served by AHC to policymakers and the wider community. We welcome partner organizations to help share the stories of the people we serve.
